Thee Yezen Al-Obaide
Writer, activist, filmmaker
Thee Yezen Al-Obaide is born and raised in Iraq, and came to Kristiansand, Norway, at 17 with his family. He is a writer, queer activist, and founder of Salam, the organization for queer Muslims in Norway. He made his directorial debut with the film The Future of Iraq, co-directed with Mats Muri.
