Synopsis

Two chimney sweepers surprise each other during a lunch break. One reveals that he recently had sex with another man, but can't understand why his wife thinks he has been unfaithful. The other is concerned over a vivid dream in which David Bowie looks at him as if he's a woman. What does this all mean? Can their lives continue as before?

Sex is the first part in Dag Johan Haugerud's ambitious trilogy SEX DREAMS LOVE, three independent stories with themes around desire, identity and longing for freedom. All three will be released in cinemas this year.

Sex had its world premiere at the Berlinale this year, where it won three awards.
